Welcome to Triangle Tutoring. By accessing our website and using our tutoring services, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
Services
Triangle Tutoring provides online tutoring services for mathematics and related subjects across various academic programs, including IB, IGCSE, A Level, and Cambridge curricula.
Booking & Payments
• All tutoring sessions must be booked in advance.
• Fees must be paid according to the selected tutoring plan.
• Payments are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed upon.
• Prices may be updated periodically and will be communicated in advance.
Trial Lessons
Students may be eligible for a complimentary trial lesson. Trial lessons are offered at the discretion of Triangle Tutoring and may be subject to availability.
Each student is entitled to a maximum of one (1) complimentary trial lesson.
Additional trial lessons requested by the student or parent/guardian will be charged at the applicable lesson rate based on the student’s academic level and the duration of the lesson.
Triangle Tutoring reserves the right to decline requests for additional complimentary trial lessons.
Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to:
- Attend sessions on time.
- Participate actively during lessons.
- Complete assigned work and practice exercises.
- Maintain respectful communication with tutors and staff.
- Keep their camera switched on during tutoring sessions. Triangle Tutoring and its tutors may permit exceptions in cases of technical issues or other genuine circumstances communicated in advance or during the lesson.
Communication Policy
All communication regarding lessons, scheduling, payments, feedback, or tutoring arrangements must take place through Triangle Tutoring.
Students and parents/guardians must not share personal contact information directly with tutors.
Students and parents/guardians must not request, obtain, or use the personal contact information of tutors.
Tutors are likewise prohibited from sharing personal contact information with students or parents/guardians.
Any attempt to bypass Triangle Tutoring for communication, scheduling, payment, or tutoring arrangements may result in the suspension or termination of services.
Recording Policy
- Students and parents/guardians may not record tutoring sessions, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of Triangle Tutoring and the tutor.
- Any recordings, screenshots, or reproductions of tutoring sessions that are authorized remain for personal educational use only and may not be distributed, published, shared, sold, or used for commercial purposes.
- Triangle Tutoring reserves the right to refuse or revoke permission for recording at its discretion.
- Unauthorized recording, distribution, or publication of tutoring sessions may result in the suspension or termination of services.
Tutor Engagement & Non-Circumvention
- Tutors introduced through Triangle Tutoring may not be engaged directly by students, parents/guardians, or related parties outside of Triangle Tutoring.
- Students, parents/guardians, and related parties agree not to enter into private tutoring arrangements with tutors introduced through Triangle Tutoring during the tutoring relationship and for a period of twelve (12) months following the conclusion of services.
- Any breach of this provision may result in the immediate termination of services and any other remedies available under applicable law.
Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, worksheets, notes, recordings, and educational resources provided by Triangle Tutoring remain the intellectual property of Triangle Tutoring and may not be copied, distributed, shared, sold, or redistributed without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide high-quality educational support, Triangle Tutoring does not guarantee specific academic results, grades, examination outcomes, scholarship awards, university admissions decisions, or other educational achievements.
Code of Conduct
Any abusive, inappropriate, threatening, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior towards tutors, staff, or other students may result in the suspension or termination of tutoring services without refund.
Changes to Terms
Triangle Tutoring reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on this website and will take effect upon publication.
